Yup...you read that one right! We are celebrating the do-nothing summer. It's the summer where we just (drumroll please)...do nothing. I thought the kids would get bored, but they're having a blast, doing nothing. We play games, I let them play their computer games, XBOX 360, DS, watch T.V., you name it..with one exception, they have to clean and organize their room every 30 min. and go outside for atleast 30 minutes or more of sunshine and fun. Once a week, we have to have a playdate, so they could build their relationship with friends and me..well, especially me. After years of telling everybody we'll get together after this or that..I finally did it. I scheduled some Mom Night Out's and just did it. So..I guess this RAK is for my kids. No workbooks, no soccer camp, no karate lessons, just fun, fun, fun..doing nothing.
Until tomorrow, have a do-nothing day!
Christina
P.S. We'll probably start doing something next week since everybody always ends up writing a what I did last summer essay when they get back to school ;-).
