Day 25 - Vacation Bible Camp

Each summer, I look forward to volunteering at our local church Vacation Bible Camp. It's fun to serve and to get together with other volunteers. For some of us, it's like a little reunion, for others, an opportunity to meet new members of the parish. We accept each other for who we are and have one goal in mind, to make this year's Vacation Bible Camp better than the last and to share God's message with all kids. Oops, I guess that's 2 goals, right? This year, I learned a new recipe from the kitchen crew and found more ways to serve to make my volunteer job better. I love watching the kids grow each year and this year, I decided to give away some pencils to remind all students about how much God loves them. Until tomorrow, find small ways to serve for your RAK. You may not be able to volunteer for an entire year, but maybe a week during the summer is good. Have a great day!
